Azerbaijani films produced since 1918 will be presented to International Federation of Television Archive. State Film Foundation director, honored art figure Jamil Guliyev told APA that preparations are being held for that.
“There is no single Azeri film in International Federation of Television Archive. We are selecting films to present now,†he said.
The Foundation director said Azerbaijan has become member of the Federation this year adding the delay of this process related to failure to pay subscription fee.
“We have been member of the Federation previously. But we was dismissed because of our failing to pay the subscription fee. We were readmitted after Culture and Tourism Ministry was established. Now the subscription fee is paid on time, and I think there will be no problem in the future,†he said. /APA/
