“Ukraine and Azerbaijan have similarities in several things. Both Ukraine and Azerbaijan announced their independence in 1918. Both your and our liberties were in the hands of Bolshevik government. Our nations suffered serious losses, growing generation should be brought up on this history,†he said.
The ambassador responding the question of APA “Can Ukraine who has experience in the investigation of mass graves during the World War II help Azerbaijan?†said the newly-found mass graves in Guba should be investigated thoroughly.
“We have experience not only in the investigation of graves in that War, but also in the events 1920 and Golodomor years in 1932-33. Historians, scientists are investigating these events. Mass graves should also be assessed politically,†he underscored. /APA/
