Azerbaijani and Armenian Diaspora representatives meet in Moscow

The aim of the meeting is to discuss the increasing role of Azerbaijani and Armenian communities, Diaspora organizations in Russia in establishing peace among nations, draft national policy strategy of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the role of the national mass media in the consolidation of the multinational Russian society.
Chairman of â€œAzerrosâ€ Federal National Cultural Autonomy Soyun Sadigov, editor-in-chief of the â€œAzerbaijan Konqresiâ€ newspaper Rustam Arifjanov, editor-in-chief of the â€œTribunaâ€ newspaper Rafael Huseynov, chairman of the Commission on National Mass Media under the Moscow Authorities Jamil Sadigbeyov, deputy director of Moscow branch of the International Bank of Azerbaijan Azer Safarov and representatives of Azerbaijani Diaspora are attending the meeting.

Though former Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Abbas Abbasov was included into the list, he is not attending the meeting.

President of Armenian Union in Russia, World Armenian Congress Ara Abramyan, USSR peopleâ€™s artist Armen Jigarkhanyan, vice-president of Armenian Union in Russia Vyacheslav Gavustyan, editor-in-chief of the â€œArmenia i mirâ€ magazine Lusik Gukasyan, former Armenian Ambassador to Russia Armen Smbatyan, Armenian Ambassadorâ€™s assistant and others are representing Armenian Diaspora.

The meeting has been organized on the initiative of â€œAzerrosâ€ Federal National Cultural Autonomy and Union of Azerbaijani Organizations in Russia.
