Irakli Alasania: â€œNagorno Karabakh problem must be solved within Azerbaijan’s territorial integrityâ€

Alasania said the number one wish of Georgia and Azerbaijan is to liberate their territories from occupation and solve the problem within the territorial integrity.
"This is both in our and international community’s interests. This is our position", Alasania underlined.

To the question "How will Georgia react, if war starts between Azerbaijan and Armenia?" Alasania said: "I hope such a tragedy will not happen in the Caucasus. The political leaders of the two countries will not allow this. Both Baku and Yerevan understand it well. We have good relations with Azerbaijan and Armenia. I think all expedient measures will be taken by the two countries in order to avoid war. I am sure that the political process will improve better, I hope there will be no war."

Irakli Alasania said if he is appointed as Defense Minister, he will pay his first visit to Azerbaijan.
