Baku. Victoria Dementeva – APA. Commander of the U.S. Transportation Command, General William Fraser has finished his visit to Azerbaijan. The US embassy in Azerbaijan told APA that Fraser was on a visit to Azerbaijan on October 18-19.
The aim of the visit was to further develop and expand cooperation between the US and Azerbaijan. General Fraser met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, they discussed future initiatives on cargo transportation via Baku airport and Baku seaport.
General Fraser met with state officials and became familiar with the operations and equipments on cargo transportation at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
