Elnur Aslamov: â€œWe want the US to give more active support to Azerbaijan in the Nagorno Karabakh issueâ€

Baku. Victoria Dementeva â€“ APA. â€œWe want the US to give more active support to Azerbaijan in the Nagorno Karabakh issueâ€, Chief of the Department for Political Analysis and Information of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Elnur Aslanov told journalists, APA reports.
According to him, passiveness has been recently observed in the activity of the OSCE Minsk Group towards the settlement of the conflict: â€œWe want the OSCE Minsk Group to be more active in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, to call an invader an invader and to achieve the liberation of the territories of Azerbaijan from Armenian occupation.â€
Elnur Aslanov said that democratic reforms are being carried out transparently in Azerbaijan: â€œAzerbaijan is a democratic and young country. Our achievements in human rights, freedom of media, freedom of assembly, free and transparent elections within 20 years are noticeable. We will not change our course. Azerbaijan is a democratic country, it will achieve more progress in elections and we will achieve successâ€, he said.
