Bakir Izetbegović expressed his gratitude to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people for their support in a difficult period for Bosnia and Herzegovina: “Our histories are alike. Our peoples faced genocide problems, aggression and attempts aiming to divide the state. Bosnia and Herzegovina will never support those attempting to change borders by force. You can rely on us in thisâ€.
Bakir Izetbegović said that it’s high time to turn the intentions between the two states into concrete actions: “Firstly, we must realize mutual visits. Today, we have signed a number of documents. They allow us to establish easier relations between the states, organize mutual visits of the delegations and businessmenâ€, he said.
Bakir Izetbegović also invited President Ilham Aliyev to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina.
