The letter by Azerbaijani MP addressed to PACE drew a wide response in world media

Baku - APA. The letter by Elkhan Suleymanov, member of PACE Legal Affairs and Human Rights Committee, addressed to the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjorn Jagland, and President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Jean-Claude Mignon and PACE members several days ago drew a wide response in world media.

APA reports that article, which expresses concerns of Azerbaijani MP, was published on the official websites of â€œWall Street Journalâ€, â€œBoston Globeâ€, â€œBloombergâ€, Bizjournal.com.inc, â€œFocusâ€, and other mass media and information agencies.

The article is about the developments in the wake of the debate over the draft report on the â€œDefinition of political prisonersâ€ prepared by German MP Christoph Straesser and adopted in the PACE plenary session on October 3, 2012.
