Iranian President proposes to establish Political Forum of Economic Cooperation Organization

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has proposed to establish the Political Forum of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). APA reports that Iranâ€™s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made this proposal delivering speech at the 12th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in Baku.
Touching upon the importance of continuing political cooperation, as well as collaboration within regional organizations, Iranian President said that it is important to achieve economic cooperation, to establish customs legislation, to implement projects on development of sea, land, air and railway transportation lines, to establish fair economic principles and to use national currencies in the trade turnover: â€œSupporters of capitalism, slavery and colonialism are reaching their end. At present, we are on the eve of the establishment of a new system. We are able to achieve a lot basing on religious faith and brotherhood. We can unite our efforts to change the present world system, serve to ensure peace and welfare for our peopleâ€.
