Azerbaijani ambassador to US meets with analysts of Stratfor global intelligence company â€“ <font color=red>PHOTO </font>

Baku â€“ APA. As a part of his visit to Austin, Texas, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the US Elin Suleymanov met with analysts at Stratfor global intelligence company, one of the leading geopolitical research centers of the US. Azerbaijani Embassy in the US told APA that the moderator of the meeting was founder and president of Stratfor George Friedman. Elin Suleymanov spoke about the strategic importance of the South Caucasus, the fact that Azerbaijan is the only state bordering on Iran and Russia, its influence on Azerbaijanâ€™s foreign policy and the balanced foreign policy pursued by the government of Azerbaijan.
Speaking about the relations with the states of the region, ambassador said the relations with Georgia are mutually useful. He added that the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is an important element for Armenia to be involved in the regional projects and in general integration processes.

Touching on the large scale energy and transport projects implemented in the region ambassador said that Azerbaijan could create the image of reliable ally during the implementation of previous initiatives and spoke about Azerbaijanâ€™s important role in energy security of Europe.
