Enterprises to be removed from Heydar Aliyev Avenue

The reason is that the density of enterprises and facilities pose problems to urbanization and the enterprises using old technologies let harmful dust and gas to the atmosphere.
At the first phase, Sattarkhan Engineering Plant, Baki Slate and Ceramics Plant, Baku Universal Engineering, Baku Shin etc. will be removed.
Baki Slate and Ceramics Plant and Baku Shin told APA that they are aware of the plan, but have no information on the date of removal.
Baku Universal Engineering told APA that they are aware of the removal, but have not been warned about.
Azerbaijan Industry and Energy Minister Natig Aliyev told APA that the industrial enterprises located in the city will be removed to the suburban areas.
State Committee for management of Public Property spokesman Gulu Khalilov admitted to APA that all the enterprises in Heyday Aliyev Avenue will be removed.
He said that the principal aim is to reconstruct and enlarge the infrastructure of Baku and improve environmental situation. /APA/
