Azerbaijani President congratulates his Russian counterpart

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulation to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of his 60th jubilee. APA reports that the letter reads:

â€œDear Vladimir Vladimirovich,

I congratulate You on your 60th birthday.

Our friend Russia is moving forward rapidly under your leadership by improving and modernizing all spheres of society. The increasing influence of the country, its active position on the ongoing processes in the world is associated with your name.
You have made substantial contributions to strengthening and enhancing traditional friendship and neighborhood between Azerbaijan and Russia. It is pleasant that these relations reached quite a new level of development and now they have a character of strategic partnership.

I am sure that our intergovernmental relations, all-round cooperation and bilateral activity will further improve dynamically for the sake of prosperity of our peoples, peace, stability and security in the Caucasus.

I highly appreciate our confidence and friendly relations.
