President Ilham Aliyev: â€œAzerbaijan-Uruguay relations are rapidly developingâ€

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today received the delegation led by Mario Jaime Trob, Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Deputies of Chamber of Representatives of Uruguay and the head of the Uruguay-Azerbaijan friendship group.

APA reports quoting AzerTAc that Head of the Azerbaijani State noted significance of the Uruguayan delegationâ€™s visit to Azerbaijan to boost bilateral relations. The countries experience rise of development of bilateral relations, the President stressed, also underlining necessity of intensification of these ties to expand relations. The head of state noted that the inter-parliamentary ties have great role in this. The President stressed the importance of reciprocal visits at numerous levels in expansion of bilateral relations. The head of state said the visit would certainly be a great success and serve the cause of bilateral relations.

Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Deputies of Chamber of Representatives of Uruguay Mario Jaime Trob introduced members of the delegation to the Azerbaijani President, noting that the visit is the indicator of interest of his country to expand bilateral relations with Azerbaijan.
