Strasburg. Fuad Gulubayli – APA. PACE adopted the agenda of its autumn plenary session this morning. The head of Azerbaijan delegation in the above mentioned organization Samad Seyidov delivered a speech at during the debates, European Bureau told APA.

Samad Seyidov protested Ramil Safarov Case to be discussed of the 4th PACE autumn session without studying the position of Azerbaijan and said that the head of the Azerbaijani delegation must be invited to Bureau’s meeting. He said that the PACE must study both the position of Armenia and Azerbaijan concerning the issues of Nagorno Karabakh conflict: “But when getting acquainted with the report on the activity of the assembly, I read in the second paragraph that the Bureau put the Ramil Safarov Case into agenda due to the statement made by the head of the Armenian delegation only. Why didn’t you learn the position of Azerbaijan? Why haven’t we been invited to the to the Bureau hearings?

Samad Seyidov mentioned that the Bureau would better hear the Azerbaijani side, it would be more objective: “Because the “Ramil Safarov Case” is closely connected with the Nagorno Karabakh conflict between Armenian and Azerbaijan. This issue must be discussed from this point of view. We have been demanding on restoration of the direct between the sides in the assembly, but I think that you consider only the Armenia’s position. I consider this fact as negative case for PACE. We demand the assembly and its Bureau to hear Azerbaijan’s position and to investigate it objectively”.
