Baku. Parvin Abbasov – APA. “Today, Islamophobia exits in Europe and we are concerned about it. We are Muslim country, but we are establishing a secular country, not an Islamic republicâ€, said Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov, APA reports.
“When we bring to their attention the issue on our Muslim origin being in the root of the dual approach against Azerbaijan, they don’t respond. We said them that our integration to Europe is always prevented. We asked that what you want to achieve with it. What does Europe archive loosing us? – said the Speaker.â€
According to him, as if some group prevents the integration of Azerbaijan to Europe and including to European family: “It is damage to the Europe’s image.â€
