Baku hosts 40th Meeting of Deans and Directors of Diplomatic Academies and Institutes of International Relations - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

APA reports that the forum will continue through September 30. More than 90 directors and deans from 60 countries will discuss global political issues and their impacts on modern education.

ADA Rector Hafiz Pashayev and Director of the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy at the US Georgetown University Paula Newberg delivered keynote speeches in the forum.

The themes of “Diplomacy of small states”, “Global political changes”, “Evolution of regional organizations” and “Environmental issues” will be discussed during the meetings. The guests are expected to visit Shaki and Gabala within the forum. Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy will sign cooperation agreements with Peru, Qatar, South Korea, Hungary and Serbia.

The forum was first set in 1972. Vienna Diplomatic Academy and Georgetown University are co-chairs of the forum. Last year, the forum was held in Boston (US). The next forum is expected to be held in Belgrade (Serbia). ADA has been participating in this forum since 2007.
