Azerbaijan Presidential Administrationâ€™s department chief: â€œArmenia needed a pretext for prolongation of peaceful solution of Nagorno Karabakh conflictâ€

This is a very serious factâ€, said Chief of the Foreign Relations Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Novruz Mammadov, APA reports.

Mammadov said that the world community always takes the Armenian side on relevant issues. This inspirits the Armenian side, especially the separatist regime and gives them opportunity to make the steps they want: â€œArmenia has already linked its policy with terrorism. But this didnâ€™t happen occasionally. The majority of current Armenian leadership participated in the terrorist acts committed in Nagorno Karabakh, almost in massacres and such processes must continue if they want to remain in the government. We gave all detailed information concerning Ramil Safarov. So, the Armenian side not only openly supports its terrorist position, but also inspirits the terrorist organization such as ASALA. As if Armenian was looking for the pretext for the prolongation of the solution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict in a peaceful and fair way and by means of negotiations. Thatâ€™s why they took this fact as a flag in their hands and made a lot of noise. The entire world knows that the main factor that prevents the reducing the tension in the region is the occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia and keeping them under control for more than 20 years. If the international community considers itself fair and not preconceived, they must give relevant commentary on this issueâ€.
