Konstantin Kosachev: “The state of Russians and Russian language in Azerbaijan is more pleasant than other CIS countries”

APA correspondent reports that he mentioned the state of Russians in Azerbaijan and some issues concerning the Azerbaijan-Russia International Humanitarian Forum to be held in Baku in October.

Kosachev spoke about the tasks and duties of his agency.

Speaking about the Russia-Azerbaijan relations, Kosachev said there was a large Russian community in Azerbaijan. He said Russian living in Azerbaijan needs attention by their historic homeland, but this attention has no emergency character because of stability in Azerbaijan. “The state of Russians and Russian language in Azerbaijan is more pleasant than other CIS countries”.

Kosachev said Azerbaijan-Russia relations were successfully developing in all spheres, particularly in the economic and humanitarian fields. He emphasized the role of Baku International Humanitarian Forum in the extension of humanitarian cooperation.
