Industry grows by 38% in Azerbaijan during January-October

Industrial production grew by 38%, year-over-year, to AZN 11.7bn in Azerbaijan during the period of January-October.
State Statistical Committee told APA that 56.9% of the added value was made by industry sector.
Industrial growth was 47.7% in oil production, 4% in oil processing, 3.4% in chemical industry, 8.1% in metallurgy industry, 7.3% in electricity generation, 4.5% in foodstuffs industry, 7.4% in foresting, wood industry and 47.3% in glass production.
Non-state sector production rose by 54% to 76% in the total production of the country. The proportion of non-oil sector production amounted to 30.5% in the economy which is a 7.4% rise on the same period last year. /APA/
