Baku to host 2nd Annual Symposium of International Relations Scholars

The symposium participants adopted Baku Declaration in the end and decided to gather in Baku next October for the 2nd Annual Symposium of International Relations Scholars, APA reports.

Baku Declaration described the issues discussed at the symposium, including regional security, unresolved conflicts, their impact on the region and their peaceful solutions, as well as Azerbaijanâ€™s role in the region.

â€œThe symposium participants have a general opinion about inevitability of peace in the South Caucasus, development of regional cooperation and integration for peace and stability in the region, serious threat of unresolved conflicts for peace and stability and solutions to the conflicts on the basis of the norms of international lawâ€, said the participants in the Declaration.

The participants agreed to hold similar symposiums regularly, to establish Baku Headquarters to support relationship, to publish English research periodical and launching website covering the symposiumâ€™s activity.
