Azerbaijan’s fire helicopters to help extinguish forest fires in Russia

APA reports quoting ITAR TASS agency that the proposals of Azerbaijan and Ukraine to help were accepted at the meeting of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Minister of Emergency Situations Sergei Shoigu. Two helicopters from Azerbaijan, two AN-32 aircrafts from Ukraine will help extinguish fires in Russia. Sergei Shoigu said there were also proposals from other countries, but advised to focus on the two proposals. Dmitry Medvedev gave an appropriate sanction.
Forest fires are continuing in Russia in 529 points covering 172.3 ha area.
