Meeting with Turkish parliamentarians held in Azerbaijani parliament

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. Speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Ogtay Asadov met with the members of the Turkish parliament, press service of the Azerbaijani parliament told APA. Ogtay Asadov underlined the role of the friendship groups in the development of the relations between the Azerbaijani and Turkish parliaments. He said Azerbaijan-Turkey interparliamentary working group is one of the biggest friendship groups in Azerbaijani parliament.

Head of Turkey-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group of the Turkish parliament Mustafa Kabakci said one of the main aims of the delegationâ€™s visit to Azerbaijan is to extend the economic relations. Head of the group said the delegation will also visit Nakhchivan. Visits are also planned to other Turkic-speaking countries.

The sides exchanged views on the prospects of the relations among the Turkic-speaking countries, bilateral and multilateral issues.

The Turkish parliamentarians met with the members of the Azerbaijan-Turkey interparliamentary working group. They underlined the role of the parliaments in the development of the relations between the two countries.
