According to APA, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India to the Azerbaijan Debnath Shaw told it reporters.
According to the Ambassador, the department will start at the new school year. "Professor Radzhish Kumar will come to Baku for to assist to opening the department. For a while he will work in Baku, and will assist teachers in preparing a program to study the Indian language", - the Ambassador said.
Shaw emphasized the importance of early implementation of student exchange programs between the two countries.
The Ambassador noted that in 2011 in India will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the famous Indian poet Tagore Robindranat.
He also stressed that in this regard scheduled events as in Azerbaijan.
