President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev receives Georgian Prime Minister

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri, press service of the President told APA. Prime Minister Nika Gilauri conveyed greetings of the Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili to the Azerbaijani leader. Touching upon the Ilham Aliyevâ€™s last visit to Georgia, Gilauri emphasized the decisions passed during this visit towards the extension of cooperation between the countries. He said one of the goals of his visit to Azerbaijan was fulfillment of those decisions.

President Ilham Aliyev said he set relevant tasks before the government concerning the results of talks in Batumi. He said he was hopeful that the solution of these issues would be realized at the meetings of the Azerbaijan-Georgia intergovernmental commission.

The Head of State thanked for Georgian President Mikheil Saakashviliâ€™s greetings and asked to convey his greetings to the Georgian leader.
