Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Konstantin Grishchenko: “Relations with Azerbaijan assumes great importance for Ukraineâ€

Baku. Viktoriya Dementyeva - APA. Today, Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov and Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Konstantin Grishchenko held face-to-face meeting, APA reports. At the press conference held after the meeting Mammadyarov said that he discussed with his counterpart bilateral cooperation, cooperation in energetic sphere, development of trade and humanitarian relations. The FM informed his Ukrainian counterpart about regulation process of Nagorno Karabakh conflict: “This visit will make opportunity to raise bilateral relations between our countries into new periodâ€.
Grishchenko noted that relations with Azerbaijan assumed great importance for Ukraine. Touching upon Nagorno Karabakh conflict the FM said that Ukraine was the supporter of peaceful solution, within the framework of territorial integrity and by observing international law norms: “Ukraine is interested in establishment of peace in the Caucasus, it will make opportunity to solve not only regional, but also global problemsâ€.
