“Despite that Azerbaijan is an attacked and affected country during the Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict some countries continue an arms embargo against Azerbaijan imposed by the OSCE. What did the government of Turkey to raise an embargo?”, asked Oymen in his letter.

In his interview to APA, Oymen reminded about the Turkey’s concern about the blockaded Gaza Strip: “An embargo is imposed against the North Cyprus as well, but no one protests it. There is an embargo against Azerbaijan. The OSCE imposed embargo against Azerbaijan during a war. Azerbaijan was attacked, but it also suffers from the arms embargo. The embargo is continued several years. Therefore I asked the government what it is doing for raising the embargo?”

Oymen criticized the Turkish Prime Minister’s statement that they will satisfy with the withdrawal of Armenian troops from the five occupied regions of Azerbaijan. “We consider that every piece of the Azerbaijani lands is holy for us like a stone of Turkey. The Prime Minister promised in his address to the Azerbaijani parliament. Nagorno Karabakh should also be returned to Azerbaijan”.
