- How do you value the process of democratization in Azerbaijan and its cooperation with the OSCE?

- The OSCE has close cooperation with Azerbaijan for improvement of all aspects of the democratic life – legal system, legislation and media. This is a long-term transformation and we hope it will be reflected in the upcoming elections with the concrete facts.

- How do you value the upcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan?

- It is not correct to value the elections beforehand and it can be valued after the elections. I think Azerbaijan intends to invite the OSCE/ODIHR and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly representatives to this process. They will observe fulfillment of Azerbaijan’s commitments and prepare a report on the elections.

- Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers and the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are planning to meet within the informal meeting of the OSCE foreign ministers. What do you think, how it will make an impact on the negotiations?

- This is a very important meeting because periodic high-level contacts are very important for achieving a progress in the negotiations and creating basis to solve misunderstandings. I hope it will be very useful meeting.

- We would like to know your prognosis when the negotiations will be fruitful?

- We need to hope only for the best and let’s see when we can achieve a progress in this process…
