President of Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz arrives in Azerbaijan

Baku - APA. President of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz started his visit to Azerbaijan, APA reports quoting AzerTAJ. Official welcoming ceremony was held in honor of Mauritaniaâ€™s president. Guard of honor stood in row in the square where the state flags of both countries are waving. Chief of guard of honor gave report to Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev. The president Aliyev welcomed President of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz. The heads of Mauritania and Azerbaijan passed in front of the guard of honor after sounding of state anthems. After Mauritaniaâ€™s president greeted the servicemen, state and governmental representatives of Azerbaijan have been presented to Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz. Then the presidents have been officially photographed.

There was held face-to-face meeting of Azerbaijanâ€™s and Mauritaniaâ€™s presidents. It was noted good potentials for development of bilateral relations. Moreover, views were exchanged on bilateral relations and international issues.
