Azerbaijani President receives Egyptian Oil Minister

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijani President received the Egyptian delegation led by Oil Minister Sameh Fahmi, on July 7. Head of the state spoke about the successfully development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt. President Aliyev said fruitful discussions were held during a recent visit of Egypt`s FM to Azerbaijan. He stressed the necessity to further boost cooperation between the two friendly countries in all fields. The Azerbaijani leader said visit of Egypt`s Oil Minister Sameh Fahmi to Azerbaijan gave a good opportunity to develop relations in energy field. Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence the joint activity would be discussed during the next visits of the guest to Baku.

Egyptian Oil Minister praised Azerbaijan`s development, saying he was impressed by what he had seen here. He said there were interesting plans to expand relations between the two countries expressing confidence these initiative would be realized.
