According to APA, participants of the action expressed protest against the EuroNews report about the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, which described Nagorno Karabakh region of Azerbaijan as an independent country.
EuroNews editor-in-chief Peter Barabas received the protesters and it became clear during the meeting that he was completely unaware of the essence of the Nagorno Karabakh problem. Barabas was surprised when heard that seven regions around Nagorno Karabakh were also occupied. He promised to closely learn the materials submitted by Azerbaijani young people.
The materials submitted to him were prepared by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. There are maps of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, booklets and DVD-materials about the Khojaly genocide issued in English and French among the materials.
