Clinton informed Sargsyan about the details of the meeting between US President Barack Obama and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayip Erdogan in the White House, APA reports quoting Armenia Today online source. Armenian president’s website reported about the phone conversation. Clinton emphasized once more that the United States will continue successive support to the establishment of Armenian-Turkish relations without pre-conditions.
Clinton mentioned the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and said her country supported the peaceful and long-standing solution to the conflict. The Secretary of State added that US considers the Nagorno Karabakh solution and Armenian-Turkish relations as different processes and believes that progresses in both processes will contribute to the strengthening of peace and stability in the region.
