Azerbaijani President offers condolences to Russian and Iranian presidents

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev over the road accident near Rostov-on-Don, which caused human victims. APA reports that the head of state on his behalf and on behalf of Azerbaijani People asked the Russian President to convey the words of condolences to the near and dear of the accident victims, and to wish speediest recovery to all injuries.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has also sent a letter of condolence to Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad over the plane crash at the Shahid Hashimnejad Airport in Mashad that killed dozens of people. Ilham Aliyev extended his sincere sympathies and condolences to the Iranian president, families of the dead, and all Iran people and wished speediest recovery to all injuries.

It should be noted that on July 24, 21 were killed and 9 injured in a heavy road accident in Russia’s Rostov district.

On July 24, Iran’s Aria Air Il-62M plane crashed while landing at the Shahid Hashimnejad Airport in Mashad on a flight from Tehran on July 24 at 18.10 by local time. 30 people were killed and 20 injured in the crash.
