GUAM countries hold workshop on prevention of nuclear terrorism

Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. GUAM countries held a workshop on prevention of nuclear terrorism at the GUAM Secretariat in Kiev, Ukraine, APA reports quoting the organization’s official website. French and US experts, as well as representatives of IAEA, Interpol and OSCE/ODIHR also attended the workshop alongside with the representatives of the GUAM member countries. The experts informed the participants about the last developments in the regime of anti-terror right, UN instruments in the field of international law cooperation on anti-terror war, the Convention of the physical protection of the nuclear materials and other issues. GUAM representatives informed about their legislations and efforts of their countries for prevention of nuclear terrorism.
