Baku. Victoria Dementyeva – APA. “I don’t think that Russian and Armenian participation in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) creates some fears of Azerbaijan. It was never so. There were no such statements by Azerbaijani leadershipâ€, Russian diplomat Yuriy Merzlyakov said at the joint press conference of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in Baku on Friday, APA reports. Merzlyakov said CSTO agreement on the establishing of operative reaction forces considered not the Russian assistance to Armenian, but war on terror and therefore there was no need to conclude that the agreement strengthened Armenia.
