Azerbaijan investment opportunities round table in London

Baku. Victoria Dementyeva â€“APA. A round table on the investment opportunities in Azerbaijan took place on June 4 at the International Financial Service London (IFSL), Azerbaijan embassy in the United Kingdom told APA. Ambassador Fakhraddin Gurbanov briefed the representatives of the business spheres attended the round table about the economic events in Azerbaijan and areas of potential new business.
The ambassador spoke about the regional energy and transport projects carried out in the country, successful economic policy of Azerbaijan, including the development of oil and non-oil sectors and useful use of oil revenues. He briefed the round table participants about the macro- and micro-economic indications achieved due to the rapid economic development in Azerbaijan.
He said the development of non-oil sector, particularly agricultural, tourism, banking and financial spheres, and diversification of the countryâ€™s economy in whole are priorities.
Then the ambassador answered the questions of the participants.
