â€œAzerbaijan - Paradise of the Caucasusâ€ book presented in Pakistan

Islamabad â€“ APA. A presentation of â€œAzerbaijan â€“Paradise of the Caucasusâ€, the book written in Urdu by Pakistani journalist-researcher Rajah Amir Bhatti and published last month was held in Islamabad. Minister of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan, spokesman for the Pakistani government Gamar Zaman, foreign ambassadors, officials of the Pakistani foreign ministry and Senate, as well as members of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Friendship Society, leading researchers and journalists of the country attended the presentation ceremony in Best Western Hotel in Islamabad.

â€œAzerbaijan â€“Paradise of the Caucasusâ€ contains large headlines and articles about Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev, Heydar Aliyev Foundation, history of Azerbaijan, Nagorny Karabakh problem and Khojaly tragedy, the cities of Baku and Sumgayit, Nakhchivan, Azerbaijani-Pakistani relations, rich Azerbaijani cookeries, the national music â€“ mugham.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Eynulla Madatli, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Aybek Usmanov, Ambassador of Tunisia Murad Burehla, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Abdul Basit, Senator Mushahid Hussein and Minister of Information and Broadcasting Gamar Zaman addressed the ceremony. Minister Gamar Zaman urged to translate the book to English and thanked the author for his contribution to popularization of Azerbaijan among the Pakistani readers.
