Elmar Mammadyarov receives representatives of U.S. Congress

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received senior representatives of the U.S. Congress Alan Makovsky and Jonathan Katz, the ministryâ€™s press service told APA. The representatives of the Congress said it was their first visit to Azerbaijan and added that they were satisfied with the development in the country. Speaking about the increasing role of the South Caucasus in the regional political processes, the representatives of the Congress underlined that Azerbaijan played an important in that process. Elmar Mammadyarov underlined all-round development in Azerbaijan, but also mentioned that Nagorno Karabakh conflict had not been solved yet. The Minister said the solution to the conflict was very important in terms of ensuring peace and security in the South Caucasus. Elmar Mammadyarov said the settlement of the conflict within Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity was the only way out.
