OIC foreign ministers to adopt three resolutions on Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan

Baku – APA. Three draft resolutions about Armenia’s aggression against Azerbaijan were included in agenda of the 36th conference of the foreign minister of the Organization of the Islamic Countries (OIC) member countries, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan told APA. The draft resolutions are following:

- Armenia’s aggression against Azerbaijan;
- Economic assistance to Azerbaijan concerning the Armenia’s aggression against Azerbaijan;
- Destruction of Islamic cultural and historical monuments in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan as a result of aggression of the Republic of Armenia against the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov addressed the plenary meetings. He spoke about the ministers’ activity within the organizations after the 35th meeting and important international events in Azerbaijan. Mammadyarov informed the participants about Azerbaijan’s position on the Armenian aggression and its results.

OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu made a report and said the Organization of the Islamic Conference resolutely condemned the Armenia’s aggression against Azerbaijan and demanded the Armenian invaders to leave the occupied territories immediately and unconditionally.

Mammadyarov held a number of bilateral meetings too.

The conference will finish its work on Monday with the adoption of draft resolutions and decisions.
