Georgia, Azerbaijan reaches agreement on construction of gas storages in Georgia

Baku - APA. President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili received Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Arthur Rasizadeh on May 21. The Georgian President expressed satisfaction with his meetings in Baku and said they reached agreement on oil-gas and energy cooperation, as well as construction of gas storages in Georgia, APA reports. Saakashvili said the storages would secure long-year gas supply of his country.
The guest thanked Azerbaijan for continuous gas supply in the winter period and called Azerbaijan the closest friend to Georgia.
In his turn, Rasizadeh said important relations between the various organizations of the two countries allowed operative solution of the problems. The Prime Minister said bilateral economic cooperation had a good dynamics.
