Ceremony of presenting International Rasul Rza award held in Azerbaijan Writersâ€™ Union

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. Ceremony of presenting International Rasul Rza award has been held in Azerbaijan Writersâ€™ Union today, APA reports. Chairman of Rasul Rza Foundation Fikrat Goja said the award is presented on May 19 every year â€“ on birthday of Rasul Rza. This year the award has been presented to Yusif Seyidov, Ogtay Rza, Jamil Hasanli, Ulviyya Heydarova, Rabiga Nazimgizi, Rubail, Adil Shirin, Movlud Teymur, Akbar Goshali and Natig Gubadoglu.

Chairman of Azerbaijan Writersâ€™ Union Anar said there were valuable publications in the personal archive of Rasul Rza. Rasul Rzaâ€™s family decided to hand over the magazines â€œFuyuzatâ€, â€œShalalaâ€, â€œZamburâ€, â€œMolla Nasraddinâ€ to the Literature Museum named after Nizami Ganjavi. Director of the Literature Museum Rafael Huseynov said though three is no day of literature in Azerbaijan, birthdays of great poets are marked day of literature.
â€œThere are valuable data about unstudied pages of Rasul Rzaâ€™s heritage. These data will possibly draw the attention of researchers. These publications will decorate Rasul Rza corner in the museum,â€ he said.
Head of the Society of Outstanding Literature and Art Figures of the Turkic World Emine Sevinj Oksuzoglu presented â€œHonorary Award of Turkic World Literatureâ€ to writer Anar.
