Khalaf Khalafov meets with State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Michael AmbÃ¼hl

Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov met with State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Michael AmbÃ¼hl, Foreign Ministryâ€™s press service told APA. The aim of the meeting was to have regular political discussions on the level of foreign ministries according to the agreement reached last year. Prospects of political, commercial, economic cooperation between the two countries were discussed during the meeting. The sides said the political dialogue between the countries was perfect, expressed their satisfaction with the present state of normative-legal basis between Azerbaijan and Switzerland. Taking into account that Switzerland is one of the leading investors in Azerbaijanâ€™s non-oil sector, the sides underlined that there was great potential to improve economic cooperation between the two countries. They exchanged views on the regional and international issues of mutual interest. At the end of the meeting Azerbaijani side was invited to Switzerland to hold next round of the political discussions.
