Baku – APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Michael Ambühl on May 18, press service of the President told APA. Ambühl emphasized the importance of political dialogue and consultations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland and noted that his visit created good opportunity for the extension of cooperation in this field.
The head of state said the bilateral relations were developed rapidly and successfully. The president underlined the importance of exchange of opinions about the bilateral relations and regional situation and said he hoped that this visit would contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations.
