Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic introduces an online registration system of long-term Czech visa applicants

Baku. Victoria Dementyeva –APA. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic is going to introduce an Internet registration system of long-term Czech visa applicants called “VISAPOINT” during May 2009. The registration through this on-line system is, among all, obligatory for the citizens of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia who are supposed to submit their long-term visa applications in the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tbilisi. VISAPOINT is an Internet on-line system of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic through which the foreigner makes his registration for submitting his application for all the types of long-term visas (more than 90 days stay on the territory of the Czech Republic). The registration of long-term visa application submission is to be made through the web-page www.visapoint.eu. The registration is free of charge. Without the on-line registration, the applicant will not be allowed to submit his application or go through the appropriate interview in the Embassy and the process concerning his application will not be launched. The system will be soon introduced for the Embassies of the Czech Republic in the following countries: Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, China, Mongolia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russian Federation, Belorussia, Serbia, Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
