Elman Rustamov: "After the devaluation of the exchange rate of manat has almost reached its point of stability"

Baku. APA – Economics. “The national currency has stabilized After the February correction of manat", said the chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov in an interview to AzTV, APA reports.

"In recent months, the rate of manat is looking for a point of stability, and we can say almost reached it." Rustamov said.

The chief banker of the country said that led them to the regulator in the last two months, increasing foreign exchange reserves, "We have acquired more than 120 million of currency (dollars-ed.). In addition, we have carried out transactions with banks in the amount of approximately $ 300 million. They offered us their currency, and we, in return, offered to banks manat to quench your hunger. However, they are not reflected in our official reserves, but I think that these funds will remain with the Central Bank."
