Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. AZN 251.9 mln or 62.5% of insurance premiums collected in January-November 2015 came from voluntary insurance types, up 1.9% from previous year, Azerbaijan Insurers Association told APA-Economics.
Premiums on compulsory insurance types stood at AZN 151.2 mln or 37.5% of market, up 11.6% from previous year.
74.5% or AZN 117.35 mln of payments went to voluntary types, up 11.1% by contrast to a year earlier. Compulsory insurance payments rose 5.8% to AZN 40.15 mln or 25.5% of total market.
AZN 46.6 was paid for each AZN 100 insurance premium from voluntary types during the reporting period. This figure was AZN 42.7 last year. Payment for each AZN 100 on compulsory insurance types fell from AZN 28 to AZN 26.5.
