This year, the average monthly salary in Azerbaijan will reach 1054 manats, APA-Economics reports, citing the forecast of the "Economist Intelligence Unit" (EIU), the research and analysis unit of "The Economist Group".
According to the EIU's forecasts, the average monthly salary will be 1108.4 manats in 2026, 1157.7 manats in 2027, 1204.2 manats in 2028, and 1264.8 manats in 2029.
According to the assessment, the increase in the average monthly salary is projected at 6% in 2025, 5.2% in 2026, 4.5% in 2027, and 4.5% in 2028 and 2029.
Note that the average monthly nominal wage in Azerbaijan was 1009.2 manats last year.
The government predicted in the 2026 budget draft that the average monthly nominal wage in Azerbaijan will be 1170.8 manats next year, 1246.8 manats in 2027, 1327.6 manats in 2028, and 1411.8 manats in 2029.
