Our main goal is to protect and increase Azerbaijan's oil and gas revenues, and direct them for the benefit of current and future generations, said Rovshan Javadov, Deputy Executive Director of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), at the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, APA-Economics reports.
He said that our investment portfolio is global and diversified; that is, as a fund, we cannot invest within the country.
"The contribution of the State Oil Fund to the country's development agenda is based on two main principles. The first is to ensure fiscal and macroeconomic stability, and the second is to strengthen investor confidence in Azerbaijan by using international relations and credibility," he added.
