According to him, Azerbaijan must continue diversification of economy: “At present, government expenditures plays a leading role in several spheres, the government supports business environment. But, Azerbaijan must pay attention to development of private sector”.

IMF official recommended Azerbaijan to increase competitiveness, take relevant measures for elimination of monopoly, improve the legislation: “Azerbaijan’s private sector has a wide opportunities and business environment can develop more, that Azerbaijan can change to leading country in the region”.
