IMF: â€œAzerbaijan needs more time for assessment of financial sectorâ€

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Assessment of Azerbaijan’s financial sector by the International Monetary Fund will be delayed, said the director of the International Monetary Fund's Middle East and Central Asia department Masood Ahmed.

According to him, Azerbaijan needs more time for assessment: “This is related with that IMF needs some information on Azerbaijan’s financial sphere. At the middle of next year, we’ll concretely know what spheres of financial sector will be assessed. Insurance sphere is not excluded”.
