IBA joins TheCityUK

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. The International Bank of Azerbaijan has joined TheCityUK and became the first member of the organization in the Caspian region, it was declared during the international Caspian Corridor Conference, held on November 26 in London, APA-Economics reports.

The conference was organized by CityUK organization in association with the International Bank of Azerbaijan and Asia House Co.

‘We are thankful for extension of corporate relations between Azerbaijan and Great Britain. High professionalism of TheCityUK plays its role in application of high standards of conducting business’, Chairman of Board of Directors of the IBA Jahangir Hajiyev said.

‘We are glad that IBA joined TheCityUK. The IBA is a bank that has brought Caspian region’s invaluable experience to TheCityUK’, said Chris Cummings, CEO of TheCityUK.

To him, Caspian region has several factors (growth rates of GDP and the reforms on liberalization of economy) that make it attractive for investors.
